On the Impedance and Stability Analysis of Dual-Active-Bridge-Based Input-Series Output-Parallel Converters in DC Systems

Dual-active-bridge-based (DAB-based) input-series output-parallel (ISOP) converters have become increasingly popular due to their promising features made up of the advantages modular power electronics and DAB converter. The modeling converter DAB-based ISOP has been widely explored for control design in order analyze stability improve performance itself, such as voltage balancing sharing submodules. However, on impedance converter, which can be quite useful system-level analysis optimization, not addressed sufficiently so far. To solve this issue, article presents comprehensive where output input are applied achieve equal proposed model validated through frequency-domain sweep simulation experiment. With models, instability phenomenon frequency main harmonic component oscillating waveforms accurately predicted at source side load respectively.
